Welcome to Wrens, a vibrant community of approximately 2500 located on Highway 1, just 30 minutes south of Augusta.

Over the last few years we have made a strong effort to improve our infrastructure as well as our downtown and recreational areas to provide an environment welcoming to residents and businesses.
We have a new 25-acre recreational park, Rabun Park, located on Highway 17 that is home to three baseball fields, a soccer and football multi-purpose field. Additionally, we recently had a ground-breaking for our new gym facility made possible with $1.8 million in SPLOST funds.
Our Water Pollution Control Plant will soon have the capacity for 995,000 gallons per day.
And our Transportation Enhancement project, the downtown streetscape, began October 9, 2007. The project will improve Broad Street from Highway 1 to Short Street including overlaying the sidewalks, installing a planted median and bumpouts. A Veteran’s Park will be located behind the Post Office at the Intersection of Highway 1 and Broad Street. The Veteran’s Park will hold memorial brick for those in our community serving in the armed forces.
As you can see, Wrens is working hard to provide quality services to its citizens as well develop capacity for new residents and businesses.
